Toothbrush? Yes. Suitcase full of “just in case” stuff? Probably not.
There’s something wonderfully liberating about heading away for a couple of nights and realising you don’t actually need to pack half the house.
At Hall Farm Dadlington, we’ve always believed that a luxury countryside escape should feel easy. You arrive, unpack a few clothes, pop the fizz in the fridge, slip into your fluffy robe and head straight for the hot tub.
No frantic trips to the shops because you forgot something. No packing a separate bag for your slippers, another for toiletries and another for all those little things you might possibly need.
Because we’ve probably already thought of them.
Our four adults-only retreats in the Leicestershire countryside have been designed to feel a little more like a boutique hotel in the countryside than a traditional self-catering stay.
Of course, you’ll need to bring your clothes, your toothbrush and whatever delicious food and drink you fancy for your stay.
Beyond that? We’ve got you.
From fluffy robes and flip flops to Bluetooth speakers, phone chargers and even ice buckets, we’ve filled our properties with the things that make a weekend away feel effortless.
And because we know that it’s often the little things that make the biggest difference, we’ve tried to think beyond the obvious too.
Every Hall Farm stay is designed around slowing down and enjoying the countryside. So naturally, there’s a hot tub.
But there are also the things that make hot tub time that bit more enjoyable:
There’s really no need to arrive with your own dressing gown and a carrier bag full of hot tub accessories.
Unless, of course, you have a favourite one.
We won’t judge.
Take a look at the full list of amenities for your property on our Everything You Need to Know page
We love music at Hall Farm, so every property has a Bluetooth speaker ready for you to connect to.
Create the playlist before you arrive, connect your phone and you’re ready.
Whether that means chilled Sunday morning tunes with coffee, a little something more upbeat while you get ready for dinner, or your favourite soundtrack playing softly while you sit in the hot tub under the stars.
Just don’t forget your phone.
There’s nothing worse than arriving at your weekend escape, reaching for your phone to take that first gorgeous arrival photo and discovering you’ve left your charger on the kitchen worktop at home.
So we provide phone charging facilities too.
One less thing to remember.
One less reason to turn the car around halfway down the road.
You’ll also find lovely Bramley toiletries in our properties, along with the kind of little details we think make a stay feel special.
Soft towels
Snuggly robes
Quality bedding
Fluffy throws
Everything prepared ready for your arrival
It’s that feeling of walking through the door and knowing that someone has thought about what you might need before you even got there.
Not every moment needs to be spent in the hot tub.
Although we wouldn’t blame you if it was.
Each property has things to help you settle in and enjoy your time together, including games and entertainment, as well as smart TVs and Bluetooth speakers.
So you can spend an evening playing cards, watching a film, listening to music or simply sitting outside doing absolutely nothing.
And honestly, doing absolutely nothing is one of our favourite activities.
Of course, Hall Farm is self-catering, so you’ll need to bring your own food and drink.
But even that can be made wonderfully easy.
Fill the fridge with your favourite things before you arrive, pick up some local produce, order a takeaway or book a table at one of the lovely pubs and restaurants nearby.
Or, if you really don’t fancy packing the provisions, you can order some treats from us before you arrive.
Fancy a lazy breakfast without having to leave your robe?
Order one of our breakfast baskets, filled with delicious goodies ready for your first morning.
Planning a cosy evening in?
You can arrange a cheeseboard to enjoy with a glass of something chilled, either before or after your hot tub.
We can also arrange a selection of other extra treats for your stay, including chilled fizz, flowers, balloons and cupcakes.
It’s all part of our aim to make your stay as easy and indulgent as possible.
Because really, when you’re coming away for a luxury countryside escape, the last thing you want to be doing is packing a shopping bag full of breakfast ingredients.
Arrive. Unpack. Pour a drink. Get in the hot tub.
We’ll worry about the cheese. 🧀
Honestly?
Not much.
And that’s before you get to the things you don’t technically need but will probably appreciate anyway.
We know there are plenty of places to stay in the Midlands.
But we also know that a memorable stay isn’t always about having the biggest room, the fanciest gadget or the longest list of facilities.
Sometimes it’s about arriving to find the ice already there.
Having a fluffy robe waiting for you.
Finding flip flops by the door.
Realising you don’t need to unpack your own speaker.
Having a hot shower outside after the hot tub (Fielden’s Folly and The Fuller’s Shed).
Filling the fridge and knowing you can spend the next two days without needing to go anywhere.
Those little touches are what we think make Hall Farm Dadlington a little bit special.
We want your stay to feel easy from the moment you arrive.
No overpacking.
No complicated preparation.
No need to bring the kitchen sink.
Just bring yourselves, your toothbrush, some food and whatever you’re planning to drink while you’re sitting in the hot tub.
We’ll take care of the rest.
So if you’re looking for a luxury hot tub break in Leicestershire, a romantic countryside escape in the Midlands, or simply a couple of nights away where you can switch off, slow down and enjoy some proper time together…
Pack light.
We’ve thought of the rest.
Four unique, adults-only luxury retreats in the Leicestershire countryside, each with its own private outdoor space and hot tub.
All you really need to bring is yourselves.
And your toothbrush.
We promise. 😉
