They say happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast, so we thought we’d take the guesswork out of planning your perfect breakfast or brunch when you stay with us at Hall Farm Dadlington.
Breakfasting on the view
When a view is a stunning as the one from The Old Tractor Shed, many guests tell us they never want to leave. We offer a selection of wonderful breakfast hampers packed with locally sourced treats which we can deliver to your door or have ready for your arrival, meaning you can relax from the moment you arrive. Why not enjoy your favourite breakfast, complemented by a brew from our Nespresso coffee machine, and soak up the rolling Leicestershire countryside views from your rural retreat?
Our options include a continental style breakfast hamper, a full English breakfast hamper and our Avocado & Eggs on sourdough hamper, all packed with locally sourced goodies, to take care of breakfast and to even take you through the evening too!

Venturing out
Or if you fancy venturing out for breakfast or a leisurely brunch, we recommend booking ahead and here are a few local options…
Black Horse – Market Bosworth – 10 mins drive (or hire our bikes and cycle via Sutton Cheney and the gated road). A very popular historic inn situated beside the picturesque market square offering a deli style feel with a perfect breakfast menu. Bosworth has so much to offer and you can easily fill a morning there mooching in the shops or visiting the vast country park. Available Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, Served between 10am and 11.30am
Maison Rose – Market Bosworth – 10 mins drive (or hire our bikes and cycle via Sutton Cheney and the gated road). A brand new boutique cafe opening August 2021 serving globally-inspired dishes in ‘Instagrammable’ surroundings. Open Tuesday to Sunday, from 9am for takeaways, and from 10am for dine-in customers, closing at 4pm. Brunch 10am to 2pm. Lunch 12 to 4pm.
Softleys – Market Bosworth – 10 mins drive (or hire our bikes and cycle via Sutton Cheney and the gated road). A beautifully smart, fine dining, restaurant housed in a listed town house in the picturesque market square offering a fabulous brunch menu from 11am to 2pm Tuesday to Friday and their speciality Bucks Fizz Brunch on Saturdays 9am to 2pm. Booking essential.
Eat KAI – Leicester City Centre – 30 mins – this is a fab little breakfast and brunch spot – please allow for queueing as you can’t book this popular venue. Take a look at the menu and follow them on insta to see the super delicious dishes. They also have a sister restaurant opposite called Eat PAI servng amaxing pizzas.
Morton’s Bar & Kitchen, Gilmorton – 25 mins. A fabulous artisan café-bistro serving great coffee, food and drinks in a beautiful setting. Sit indoors by the open log fire or outdoors on our large patio area. A bit of a drive but we think it so worth it!
Leicestershire Handmade Cheese – 6 mins drive. A stunning barn conversion cheese shop & tearoom offering coffee and toasties. Open Friday & Saturday 9am – 2.30pm
Tithe Barn at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre – 6 mins drive. Visit the Heritage Centre to explore the Battle site from 1485 and this wonderful converted barn – grab a Bagel takeaway or eat in to experience their Full English. See their Facebook page for updates and menus.
Sutton Wharf Café – Sutton Cheney – 4 mins drive (or you can walk from Hall Farm along the tow path or road – 20 mins). A small, traditional canal-side cafe with outdoor seating, offering a range of food and drinks and their Floaty Oakie coffee boat – check the great food reviews on Facebook! Open every day from 9am or 9.30am (season dependent) and closing times vary according to the season.
Tarro – Hinckley – 8 mins drive. A quirky cafe bar, part of the Lounges chain, with outdoor seating in a town centre shopping crescent. You can even nip to TK Maxx whilst your there. Tarro has a large brunch menu with extras. Consistent food but be prepared to queue or wait. Open Monday – Sunday 9am – 11pm. Park in the Sainsburys car park and walk up through the indoor shopping centre out into the crescent to the other end.
The Millers – Sibson – 6 mins by car. A Greene King motel on the main road through the village of Sibson offering all day dining. Open every day 7am to 10pm
