We’re Mark and Kate Walker, and we’d like to offer you the warmest of welcomes to Hall Farm.

Hall Farm is our family home, and we’re delighted to share our beautiful corner of rural Leicestershire with guests looking for a peaceful countryside escape in the heart of the Midlands.

In 2021, we sold our successful Canon and HP printer dealership to pursue our passion for hospitality full-time. Since then, we’ve dedicated ourselves to creating exceptional luxury farm stay experiences, offering adults-only countryside retreats where guests can relax, reconnect and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Sharing our stunning views, unique accommodation and peaceful farm setting means the world to us. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic weekend away, a luxury glamping break, a special celebration or simply some well-deserved time to unwind, our goal is to make every stay memorable.

We love meeting guests who enjoy a chat and learning about their travels, but we equally understand the value of privacy. Whether you prefer contactless check-in and complete seclusion or would like to meet us and our animals during your stay, we’re always available if needed while respecting your space.

Our philosophy is simple: a holiday property should feel like a true home from home. Every luxury lodge, shepherd’s hut and holiday accommodation at Hall Farm is carefully designed with comfort, style and attention to detail in mind. We regularly walk through the entire guest journey, ensuring everything is just right and continually looking for ways to improve the experience.

The spectacular countryside views speak for themselves, but we believe the experience should be just as exceptional. We are committed to providing outstanding hospitality and creating one of the finest adults-only luxury retreats in Leicestershire.

Mark grew up helping in his parents’ bistro and began his career in contract catering before moving into sales and eventually founding our printer business together in 1998. A keen gardener with a natural gift for conversation, he loves meeting guests and is always happy to stop for a friendly chat if you see him around the farm.

My own career moved between sales and interior design before I joined Mark in the family business. Hospitality and interiors have always been passions of mine, alongside my horses and the farm itself. Designing and continually evolving our accommodation is one of my greatest joys. As I write this, I’m putting the finishing touches to The Shepherd’s Watch, our newest luxury shepherd’s hut retreat, which is due to open soon—and I have plenty more exciting plans for Hall Farm in the future.

During your stay, you’ll often see us caring for the animals, maintaining the grounds and working on new projects around the farm. Please don’t hesitate to say hello—we’ll be delighted to introduce you to our menagerie.
